There are a lot of TV stations in Toronto. We have given here a list of some of the most important ones. The CBS is one of the most famous Toronto TV Stations. It provides news about local, national and international happenings. It also provides news about the weather. Another Toronto TV Station is the City TV. As the name suggests, this TV station keeps you updated on what is happening in the city. But this does not mean that it is oblivious to anything happening in the world. It also provides news about the world. Now let’s come to the entertainment quotient.

For this we have Toronto TV Stations like Aboriginal Peoples TV and Bravo! Canada. Bravo! Canada showcases TV serials like Street Legal: The Cost of Love, Desperate Housewives and Entourage. In addition to these channels, CBS News also showcases a variety of programs that are interactive in nature. These include ‘Today with Nancy Wilson’ where host Nancy Wilson presents immediate reports on the happenings around the world. The program ‘Today with Suhana Meharchand’ also is a similar program where news reports are covered by Suhana.

In addition to these, Toronto TV Stations also include History Television and Discovery Channel. The history Television showcases news of the previous day, hence the name. The Discovery Channel which is also available in other countries deals with science, nature, animals and plants. It also shows adventure sports. You also have the Documentary Channel and the Family Channel. The Family Channel as the name suggests telecasts programs for kids and family. You also have the Canadian Learning Television that helps to educate people by providing interactive methods of teaching.

These are a few of the Toronto TV Stations. Other channels include the Food Network, that deals with food, the MoviePix – this shows movies, Scream TV- this broadcasts horror shows and the Weather Network. Country Music Canada and the Comedy Channel are a few other Toronto TV Stations.

The Toronto Zoo is located in the northeastern region of the city of Toronto. Toronto is a city in Ontario, Canada and the zoo occupies an important part of the cultural identity of the city. The Toronto Zoo was opened up in 1974. It was originally named as the Metropolitan Toronto Zoo but later the Metropolitan was struck off the name of the zoo. This zoo is owned by the City of Toronto. The Toronto Zoo is situated near the Rouge River. This zoo can be found open on all days of the year except during Christmas Day that is December 25. So you can visit this zoo at any time of the year when you visit Toronto.

The Toronto Zoo occupies a large area. It extends for about 710 acres (287 hectares). The zoo is also famous as the third largest zoo in the world. The Toronto Zoo is divided into six zoogeographic regions. These are the Canadian Domain, Eurasia, Australasia, the Americas, Africa and the Indo-Malayan region. Animals are displayed both inside and outside. Inside they are provided with tropical pavilions and outside, they live in naturalistic environments. To facilitate the experience of children, the Toronto Zoo also has a children’s zoo, Waterside Theater and a Splash Island.

The Toronto Zoo provides shelter to about 16000 animals. These include fish and invertebrates also. The animals are of 491 species. The Toronto Zoo authorities are at present working on the North Zoo Redevelopment project. In addition to this, you can also check out the Gorilla Rainforest Exhibit. The Splash Island is a water park with the aim of providing education. It teaches about the states of matter. Water for example is displayed by solid (ice), liquid (water) and gas. These exhibits are presented in an interesting manner by grouping them with aquatic animals and ocean, lake and river themes. You should check this out when you visit Toronto.

Toronto is a great place for food lovers. The city is clean and tidy and boasts of a multilingual culture. Different cultures have stayed in this city for ages. As such, this city has imbibed the traits of all these cultures in its values, lifestyle and also the food habits. In food, though you get a kind of internationalism. In this article, we will discuss a few Toronto restaurants that are good for brunch. These diners are generally small, found in places where people usually know each other by name. Check these out. The first Toronto restaurant we are going to discuss is Okayokay Diner. This is located on Queen Street East. This is a relatively new hotel.

The service is prompt and quick. But the staff is casual and the aura of the restaurant usually imbibes an air of the familiar. This may be because this restaurant perfectly blends with the surrounding local crowd. You find five small antique TVs in the hotel. This reminds one pretty much of a small town dinner experience. Strawberry and raspberry jam items are present giving it a homely appearance. A brunch for two costs around $25 which includes tax and dip. Reservation is not necessary.

Another hotel which deserves special mention is the Easy Restaurant. This is also a small diner at the heart of Queen and Roncesvalles streets. This diner too is extremely casual and homely. The tables and flooring are well worn suggesting that this is an old Toronto restaurant. The wall art of this restaurant is quite interesting; you have the 1960s Peter Fonda observing diner patrons which were seen in the Easy Rider movie posted here on every wall. The staff is polite but also extremely casual. You won’t get the hard and cold feeling as in five start hotels. This is surely one hotel to check out for.

Toronto has some of the most ingenuous attractions for the enthusiasts all over the world. One of the main Toronto attractions is the Hockey Hall of Fame.

This is pure fun. 57000 square feet of unique unadulterated interactive games are placed right in front of you in this work of this huge spectacle. Here you can also see the world’s finest collections of hockey artifacts. No matter what your age, if you love hockey, then this hall of fame has something to offer for you. And all these games are presented to you in a unique interactive mechanism. It offers vibrant, playful and innovative game plans for guests of all ages. This also varies along with the guests’ levels of interest in the game.

You also have a themed exhibit which has been artistically presented and colorfully designed. You can go through the themed history of hockey here and hockey passions are also present in this exhibit. You also have a wonderful rink area in this hall of fame. This one challenges guests to stop the shots coming from a virtually created image of Wayne Gretzky and Mark Messier. Interesting isn’t it?

Another Toronto attraction which you must see is the Art Gallery of Ontario. This gallery has been designed by Frank Gehry. He has also designed the Disney Concert Hall and the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao. Incidentally he is also a native of Toronto. This building has a very open, airy vibe to it. It has sweeping staircases that link the floors together. There is an extensive use of glass in this gallery.

You find a rare collection of art in the sculpture gallery called the Galleria Italy. This is shaped like a ship’s hull. Ontario Science Center is another Toronto attraction. Sport, communication, the human body and the living earth are some of the few subjects that have been showcased in this center.
